WhistleB launches white paper on EU Whistleblower Protection Directive

juli 2, 2019

One of the most radical legal changes in the EU is about to receive its final approval by EU ministers. WhistleB’s white paper provides a summary and a guide for organisations that want to start the road to compliance.

“Under the new law, all organisations with 50 or more employees will need to provide a channel for employees and others to blow the whistle. This is going to be a hot topic for companies as they work out the specifics of their legal obligations,” says Karin Henriksson, Founding Partner WhistleB.

The EU Whistleblower Protection Directive is now being translated into the various EU languages and will go into effect once approved by EU ministers, which is likely to take place in July or September this year.

WhistleB’s white paper, EU Whistleblower Protection Directive – Countdown to Compliance, is an easy-to-read briefing on the Directive and a how-to guide for compliance based on WhistleB’s twenty years of experience in compliance, business ethics and organisational whistleblowing.

“We give our best advice on selecting, setting up and managing an organisational whistleblower channel that not only complies with the Directive, but also delivers real business benefit and protects long-term success,” adds Karin Henriksson.
